Derek joined the Navy in 2005, he pre-commissioned the USS Mesa Verde LPD-19 and was stationed in Norfolk Virginia. He was honorably discharged in 2010 and left the Navy as a Hull technician, second class petty officer and his responsibilities included welding, fabrication as well as being a fire team leader.
After his military career concluded Derek attended Lincoln College of Technology and received his Associate of Occupational Studies degree, master certified diesel and truck technology in 2012.
Derek prides himself on his work ethic and his commitment to being the best at whatever field he is working in at the time. He has been well sought after for his skills working for CAT, especially his work with the CAT 3500 series diesel engines as well as the gas substitute systems in the mining and oil/gas industries.
Derek started Apex Mobile to allow himself to pursue his goals and ideals with a greater sense of independence and the opportunity to create a fulfilling path for not only himself but for his family. Derek met his wife in 2013, they have four beautiful daughters together.
Derek has spent his life dedicated to his country and family and her is excited to show the same level of dedication to his business.
